***MR. BEATZ'S NEW "SPIT THERAPY" ALBUM COMING MARCH 30TH!!!
It's finally official!!! The new and FINAL release date for my new "Spit Therapy" album is March 30th!!! I've had a few setbacks that kept pushing this release back, but now I'm ready to put it out there. I can also say that I put my blood, sweat and tears into this album in an attempt to create a timeless classic regardless of what everyone else is doing on radio or whatever. The result is amazing!!! This album is full of sick, raw Boom Bap production, ill lyricism, scratching, etc. If you've been longing for some raw Hip Hop that's missing from the radio then this is definitely an album for you to check out. Mark your calendars and PLEASE help me spread the word about it because I'm trying my best to make a lotta noise with this. That's all I would ever ask from anyone.
I don't want to give too much info away about the album, but I had a few friends like Poison Pen, Homeboy Sandman and Oxygen show up and stroll into the vocal booth during this album's creation lol. More info on the album release party and new videos coming soon!

***New Mr. Beatz Single!!! "Keep Rockin"
I've just released a new single entitled, "Keep Rockin" to help promote the release of my new "Spit Therapy" album!!! This joint is definitely one of the best joints I've done. It's kinda like a cross between the funkiness of "MC on the MPC" mixed with the boom bap/scratchness of "Plain and Simple"!!! You can check it out and see what I mean here:
This a good example of what to expect on the album. I seriously put my blood, sweat and tears into this album to try my best at making something that's timeless and classic with NO fillers. Hopefully everyone feels the same when they check it out.
***OFFICIAL RELEASE DATE FOR "SPIT THERAPY" TO BE ANNOUNCED HERE SOON!!!

Mr. Beatz has just leaked another new song as a single and the song is entitled, "The MC on the MPC". Those living in the NYC area may have seen him rock this song live, but Mr. Beatz has JUST officially released it to many underground radio shows and blogs. Many people may also remember his performance of this song at the legendary Nuyorican Poet's Cafe from when he actually brought his MPC on stage(mentioned below) and this is the actual studio version of it. Here's a montage that Beatz created himself for posting the song on Youtube:

***Mr. Beatz's legendary performance at NYC's Nuyorican Poet's Cafe!!!
Mr. Beatz had a legendary performance at a legendary spot last night. He performed at the legendary Nuyorican Poet's Cafe to a PACKED house for the "All That" show hosted by Homeboy Sandman and brought his MPC on stage with him! Very few MCs have performed songs straight off the MPC machine live on stage while rhyming and this is exactly what he did, which is EXTREMELY rare!!! This performance definitely stood out from what most people have ever seen in a live Hip Hop show. It is also extremely rare to get an opportunity to see Mr. Beatz do his thing with the MPC in front of a crowd. This was actually his first time doing this and completely blew the crowd away with ease!!!! Footage from this performance was provided by Solomon Jazz. Shout out to him! You can also check him out at www.solomonjazz.com. You can check out some of this footage on the media page.

It is an all day event featuring the dopest underground Hip Hop artists along with dope, big name Hip Hop artists. Beatz will be competing on April 16th along with the Brown Bag All Stars and Cymarshall Law. This is definitely not a show to be missed! All 3 of the acts are mad dope. ***Video Music Box Debut!!!
Mr. Beatz's video for "Plain and Simple" makes its debut on the legendary Video Music Box show with Ralph McDaniels. Any Hip Hop fan from the Tri-state area (New York, New Jersey or Connecticut) can tell you that Ralph McDaniels' Video Music Box show is legendary and has helped blow up many of the great artists that we know of today. The show just celebrated its 25th anniversary in 2008 making it the longest running Hip Hop video show. It's always been known to us in the Tri-state area as the only place for finding true, raw Hip Hop videos. Having a video of mine aired by "uncle" Ralph on the show is an honor that's indescribable. In fact, that's definitely an understatement. That gives me the feeling that my video is OFFICIAL since I now have his approval. Shout out to Ralph McDaniels for the support!
In addition to having my video played on this legendary show, I also have cameos in 2 other videos that are in rotation on the show at the moment. You can see me in M-Tri's video for "1998 (Take You Back)" and in Homeboy Sandman's video for "Lightning Bolt". That's a lot of airtime for seeing Mr. Beatz's grill on the screen lolol.

Mr. Beatz's video for "Plain and Simple" remains on Blastro.com's Hip Hop Top 100 Chart at #26 in its 4th week with over 50,000 views!!! The video first entered the chart at #28 has since remained on the chart beating out major label artists such as Lil Wayne, Snoop, N.E.R.D., The Game, David Banner, etc. I'm one of the very FEW independent artists on the list up against these major label cats with huge budgets. As I've said many times in the past...if true Hip Hop is promoted correctly many people will flock to it regardless of all the "other" stuff on the radio nowadays.
*Also, note my homie M-Tri at #24 in his 2nd week on the list in which I also have a cameo!

New Mr. Beatz video for "Plain and Simple", produced by The Avid Record Collector OUT NOW!!!
This is Mr. Beatz's debut video and is the first of 3 to be released from his forthcoming album, "Spit Therapy" that is scheduled for a late November/early December 2009 release. The video also includes cameos from fellow MCs Solomon Jazz, M-Tri, DVS, and Cee-Rock the Fury (also my dude Chunk and Lisa Munoz). Shout out to 2 other dope fellow MCs Homeboy Sandman and Tah Phrum Dah Bush who also came through, but didn't appear in the final version of the video due to time restraints during filming. "Plain and Simple" was mostly filmed at the famous graffiti spot in Long Island City called 5 Pointz (shout out to Meres who runs that spot!). If you are in the 5 boroughs or anywhere nearby in NY and haven't been to this spot you NEED to take the time to pass thru because the graffiti is sick over there and takes up 2 whole blocks! Filming the video there was a great experience. The other location used for the video was a little spot in Greenpoint, Brooklyn where there was a wall full of graffiti. In fact, if you look above at the frame of the video you'll see me standing in front of a corner of 2 walls of graffiti and that is one of the shots at Greenpoint.
